Rob McCullers has been a member of the Prairie Aviation Museum since ????.  Rob has also been a Board member from ???? – current.

Rob is one of our primary “hosts” and provides excellent tours of our Air Park.

Even though we do not have a KC-135 Stratotanker in our Air Park, Rob could refuel most of the military aircraft in our Air Park.

Rob, tell us a story about one of your experiences.

Rob graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and became a KC135 Stratotanker pilot.  During the last stages of his career, Rob was a “research” pilot.  His role was to test the planes beyond their standard protocol limits.

JUST KIDS!

After leaving active duty, Rob flew commercial flights with American Trans Air out of Indianapolis.  Most of Rob’s flights were to the Middle East transporting military in to and out of combat assignments.

On one flight, Rob was visiting the troops returning to their National Guard units in Kansas.  Then it hit him, “these are just kids” returning home from battle.  Wow!
