The museum currently has two aircraft preservation projects. One of them is being restored while on display in the Chuck Schumacher Aviation Air Park. The other aircraft is being restored and will be added to the Air Park when it is completed.
Our T-33 Shooting Star is on display, but the preservation is not complete.
If you know of an aircraft that we might be able to acquire and restore to static preservation state, please let us know.
If you would like to learn more about our preservation projects or help us, please call the museum at 309.663.7632 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Ask for our Preservation and Maintenance Director John Rice. We always need various kinds of assistance, from manuals, tools, parts and expertise.
